Katio Tech, that’s me.
I’ve unofficially been an IT administrator since I was twelve. My first website of my own was a small chat app for sending secret messages at school, about fifteen years ago. I went on to study audio engineering anyway and ended up in IT after all. The two aren’t that far apart: in both, something has to get cleanly from A to B. These days it’s data instead of sound.
I’ve worked in IT professionally for more than five years and know operations from the inside: Microsoft 365, the cloud, permissions, and the question of who will maintain an application later. My focus is automation, meaning workflows that run without retyping or chasing people for answers. AI is a fixed part of that, connected to the software and data a company already works with. Where nothing suitable exists, I build custom software. Some of that work became complete SaaS products, meaning software that companies use as an online service. They now run in production for enterprise clients.
What bothers me most is when people make their work harder than it needs to be, simply because no one showed them what’s possible today. AI is a similar story: almost everyone uses it by now, and almost no one uses it to the full. Among family and friends I’m the one who explains how to use AI well anyway. I founded Katio Tech because I enjoy this work and see a lot of value in it for businesses.
At Katio Tech I’m personally the point of contact for every project. I clarify the requirements, plan a sensible first scope, build the solution, and test it. Then I take care of integration, documentation, and handoff, and on request also operation and ongoing development.
